Learning The Secrets About Animals
Having a Dog in Your Life
You might not be aware of it but to own a dog means to be responsible for its care, and the more you provide this care the more benefit you get. It is an individualized process to look for the right companion pet. People are different from each other and what one needs or desires is different from what another person needs and desires. This can also be applied when it comes to dog breeds. In different stories we read how the many dog breeds came about but what we know now is that these different breeds have their specific purpose which are being used all over the world. Dogs can be used for working or helping man to do certain tasks and they can also be had as a companion or treated as a pet.
Both utilities though includes companionship, one as an alliance while the other as a social affiliation. Since dogs are very reliable as a companion, there is a bond formed with his master and this relationship is sort of a mutual one. This bond however is the reason why an owner can gain a lot of benefits. Because companionship with a dog carries a positional attitude, it means that it will help you develop a strong sense of calling to be in-charge. And when you are in-charge, you are responsible for its well-being. You feed him when he is hungry. You take your dog out when it ones to relieve itself. When your dog becomes restless, you exercise and play with him. You bring him to the vet when he is experiencing health issues. In return however, your furry friend gives you back its loyalty, devotion and trust, unlike most human who takes these things as their entitlement. You can see many dog owners today who treat their dogs as human and they have a relationship that can be compared with what one has with his best friend.
Training your dog is one of the most neglected area when it comes to caring for them. Dogs actually do not have cognitive abilities like humans have and they don’t think as we do but merely respond to the patterns that we show them and they are very sensitive to these cues. You should not therefore train a dog like you would train a child.
A trained dog gives his owner a lot of benefits. A dog’s life can be saved if he is trained. The more time you spend working with them on commands, the more likely you will have voice control over your dog. A dog’s life can be spared by the ability of the owner to get the dog back with voice commands. Teaching them basic manners would also allow you to take them along without embarrassment or injury. Training allows you to understand them better.
