Blue Dog Rescue (2)
A volunteer group dedicated to the welfare of stray and homeless canines within the Austin space, Blue Dog Rescue provides hope for tons of of canine every year that otherwise would face euthanization. But what we are most pleased with is the fact that lodges and rescues from New York, South Carolina, Texas, California, West Virginia, and Florida have contacted us hoping to replicate our program, which may lead to a whole bunch of additional dogs throughout the nation being adopted by loving households.
Some are immediately placed in a foster residence, some are delivered to Safe Haven, our kennel located in Fletcher, NC. From there, we host native adoption events and we work with other rescue teams in the northeast who settle for many of our native canines and cats and find loving properties for them.
Our adoptable jack russell terrier, Betty White, attended an after hours assembly at Vets 4 Pets final evening with Director, Russ Swisher, as we mentioned Dogma Pet Rescue ‘s participation in an upcoming Vets4Pets Charitable Clinic fundraiser (we were there too, but we simply took notes)!
The method it really works is when a shelter’s area starts to turn out to be too crowded and can’t soak up more canine, a call goes out to a volunteer who then takes care of coordinating the transporting of canines from the overcrowded shelter to dog rescue organizations and groups.
They will should be groomed weekly and brought to your vet right after adoption to get a full check up. This way you and your vet will likely be on top of things on the wants of the Shih Tzu rescue canine and the two of you’ll be able to work together in making sure your new Shih Tzu rescue canine receives all the eye it wants.
